Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-19. The terms for using V.E.Y.R, the runtime you own, and for the V.E.Y.R 4G stick and our service.
Using V.E.Y.R
V.E.Y.R is software you run on your own instance. By using it you agree to these terms. You are responsible for how you use it, for the accounts you connect, and for complying with the terms of any platform you connect (for example, the Meta Platform Terms and Instagram's policies).
Your accounts and content
- You keep ownership of your content and of the accounts you connect.
- You will use V.E.Y.R only for accounts you are authorized to manage, and only for lawful messaging and publishing that follows the connected platform's rules (including anti-spam rules).
- You are responsible for the messages and automations you send.
Licensing
Features are enabled by the license you hold. A license grants use of V.E.Y.R for its term and does not transfer ownership of the software.
Source code
The V.E.Y.R 4G stick starts from a bootloader built from lk2nd, an open source project. Parts of lk2nd are licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2, so the bootloader as a whole is too, and its complete source is yours. The download holds the exact upstream source, the small changes we make to it (one of them takes the bootloader's service mode off the USB port, so all it does is start the stick), the build script with every version it uses, and the steps to rebuild the very same files, including the bootloader a stick carries today.
- Stick bootloader source (lk2nd next-9929766-20240914 with the V.E.Y.R changes, tar.gz, 5.2 MB). SHA-256 of the download:
629d26ead1b91ef450357249cad6b3fb7bba59df96c75e35e566f03cc0ad48a4. The bootloaders it rebuilds have SHA-256441d314b452d32ab461dd8b90e85a461c29ce5d4f71bb6c40d577f2a7a799436(the one a stick carries today) andafbe1c5dbc94ed611db41a53c82075475b875a864a74c5f8cc67b5f01ce5c925(ours, once proven on hardware).

The 4G stick and our service
These terms cover buying the V.E.Y.R 4G stick and using the private home we run for it ("our service"). They sit next to the rest of this page. Nothing here takes away a right your provincial consumer protection law gives you.
- Ordering and paying. The price on our order page comes straight from our payment provider, Stripe, and is the price you pay, before any tax shown at checkout. Your order is confirmed when Stripe takes the payment; we then email you the next steps. The stick is one payment; it includes one year of our service (below).
- Shipping. We ship to the countries the checkout offers, to the address you give Stripe. We email you a tracking number when the stick leaves us. If it arrives damaged or does not arrive, write to us and we make it right.
- Returns and refunds. Changed your mind? Send the stick back within 30 days of delivery, in working order with its card, and we refund the stick to the way you paid. We pay the return shipping when the stick is faulty or we sent the wrong thing; otherwise you do. Before you send it, write to us and we tell you where. When it arrives we reset it, end its service and replace its claim code before it goes anywhere else.
- Warranty. We cover the stick against faults in its making for one year from delivery: we repair it or replace it, or refund it if we can do neither. This does not cover damage from drops, water, opening the case or flashing other software, and it does not cover your carrier's network.
- Your SIM and your carrier. The SIM, its plan and its bill are between you and your carrier. Your carrier's plan pays for texts and data; we never charge per text. Texting and data work only where a carrier accepts the stick: we promise only the carriers we list as verified on the stick page, and some networks refuse it outright. Bulk marketing texts from a personal SIM break carrier rules; do not use the stick for them.
- One year of our service included, then a plan. Your stick includes one year of our service, counted from the day it first links to a home. After that year our service is a yearly plan; its price is shown on our pricing page and on our renew page, and we announce it before your first year ends. We remind you by email, in your console and on your stick's own page 60, 30 and 7 days before your date, and again when it pauses. When you renew, your first charge waits until your covered date, so you never pay twice for the same time.
- If you do not renew. Everything keeps working for 30 days after your date (the grace). Then our service for your home pauses: texts on your phone and in your console, the VPN through our servers, and your console, which shows how to renew. Your stick keeps working on its own: as a 4G stick, sharing over USB, its hotspot, its own page and its updates, and you may pair it with your own V.E.Y.R home. The plan never disables, bricks or locks your stick. Its software stays sealed for your security, and that has nothing to do with the plan. We keep your home and its data for 30 days after the pause, then remove it, after a final email 7 days before (what we remove is on our privacy page). Renew any time before that and nothing is lost.
- More than one stick, and sticks that move. Our service belongs to your home. A home with several sticks is covered until the latest included year of its sticks ends. A stick added to a home that has a paid plan adds what is left of its year to that plan. A stick's year is counted once, from its first link: a factory reset, adding it again, moving it to another home or reselling it never starts a new year (a resold stick carries only what is left). A stick reported lost stops counting at once; write to us and we can move its remaining time to your home. The included year and the plan cover our service only, never a Creator or other license.
- Our service. We run your home on our servers and keep it updated. We do not promise a fixed uptime: when our service is down, texts and the VPN pause and your stick's light says so, and they resume by themselves. Your stick also keeps working on its own as a 4G stick and Wi-Fi device.
- Using it fairly. Use the stick, the texts and the VPN lawfully. Do not use them to send spam, to attack other systems, or to hide activity that breaks the law. We may pause a home that is doing this and tell you why.
- A lost or stolen stick. Report it lost from your console: your home cuts it off at once, and nobody can add it to another home until you unlock it. Then change the password of any Wi-Fi it knew.
- Ending our service. You can end our service at any time by writing to us, or by cancelling your plan. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then the grace and the pause above apply. Before we delete your home we tell you by email and, if you ask, send you a copy. What we delete and when is on our privacy page.
- Updates. The stick installs signed updates from us by itself, so it stays safe. You choose only whether they may use mobile data.
Availability and warranty
The V.E.Y.R software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind; the 4G stick carries the warranty above. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the software, the stick or our service, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. See also our Privacy Policy.
